We've been in the freezer since Thursday evening, but it's time to break out of the deep freeze and melt some of this snow and ice. Ultra Cold Freezer

Tuesday, we'll have a mini-thaw as temperatures go above freezing for a couple of hours. Highs are expected in the low-to-mid-30s. We could see some sunshine peeking out for the afternoon.

Tuesday night, lows head to the mid-20s, so untreated surfaces could be icy again by Wednesday morning. The good news here is that, once we go back above freezing again on Wednesday morning, we'll stay that way into the new year!

Wednesday's highs head to the mid-40s. Highs will be surging into the mid-to-upper-50s by Friday! Unfortunately, wet weather will also return in time for New Year's Eve celebrations.

While not a washout, it looks damp for any of those weekend celebrations.

You won't need a very heavy jacket if you are out and about at all over the weekend: We could even see a day in the 60s next week!
