Anonymous, 14 Sep 2022will keep the existing 10MP periscope module from the predecessor which is actually two years ... more Perhaps they have not been able to make a better one yet

will keep the existing 10MP periscope module from the predecessor which is actually two years old, Sami WHY would you do that??????

All this talk about how pixel binning sucks, and yet the S22 Ultra takes photos that are on par or better than every other flagship camera wise

ultra's periscope is way ahead of any competition in the market.however, the vanilla models need a camera upgrade.s22 has no upper hand against s21.

Will the S23 Ultra have some kind of HIGH PWM frequency or DC Dimming? Amoled phones destroy my eyes.... I can just barely use my current VIVO X80 Pro thanks to the high PWM frequency it has, but still if i lower the brightness it gets too slow and i get migaines..... GGWP amoleds.... I would love to have another screen like the one on Xiaomi Mi 10T Pro.

Preety23, 12 Sep 2022I hope the fingerprint sensor is on back camera, easy to access without movement with index fi... more I also prefer the fingerprint at back of phone. More easier than front. If u install temper glass in front it will be difficult to read fingerprint.

Anonymous, 12 Sep 2022While I don't dismiss pixel binning as a myth completely, I'm highly skeptical of th... more Wonderful ! Someone who knows what they are talking about and has actually tested and researched these sensors. Even the GSM Arena test of the Xiaomi Note 10 Pro did not test the 108 MP sensor with strong light from behind when the resolution of the images is astonishing. See this photo of a tiled wall in Portugal - unbelievable ! https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1R_Tvt-i8nXOdOd2l32oIDlyu_tPH5bZw?usp=sharing

you have to suffer, 12 Sep 2022pixel binning are just marketing purposes. also the nokia 808 pureview was the real camera pho... more I actually think Nokia did something to prevent these OEMs from making high-resolution RGB sensors to ensure nobody forgets the legendary 808 and 1020!

Nick Tegrataker, 12 Sep 2022Samsung's own engineers are probably laughing at themselves at this point because they kn... more They don't know where to stop! There's talks of even a 450mp sensor, obviously multi bayered and 6x6 array of pixels, meaning 36 to 1 binning to produce a 12.5mp image!!! LOL. They have some extreme aversion to make a high resolution bayer sensor, did Nokia pay them not to do it or something?

Plan, 12 Sep 2022Really good camera sensor, unlike the 108mp one, this one can scale down to 50mp for 8k video ... more Fake 8k of multi bayer sesnor, heavily remosaiced at best. We reject this gimmick. Why don't DSLRs use these gimmicky multi bayer money-making marketing machines and stick to RGB?

I'm Surprised the Moto Edge 30 Ultra have the bigger sensor of 1/1.22" vs Samsung 1/1.3" sensor both also manufactured by Samsung.

Yukvgffh, 12 Sep 2022Exactly, most people think the 200MP sensor is useless, they don't know it's main fo... more Pixel bining in video isn't that good on Samsung phone, but in photo they are really good ✌ (S22U)

SShock, 12 Sep 2022You're greatly exaggerating things to almost absurd levels. Satellite SOS thing costs ... more You can marry with apple as you defend that joke company as much as you would defend your wife.

Josh, 12 Sep 2022I wonder why, they decided not to increase the sensor or pixel size. Maybe the sensor has othe... more Absolutely. Otherwise Samsung won't go out of its way to give its own flagships inferior imaging sensors.

This is just the S22 Ultra with a gimmicky 200MP lens. Nothing new here.

walkman8, 12 Sep 2022And Apple is a charity? You have to pay for life emergency feature 2 years later. Pay for half... more You're greatly exaggerating things to almost absurd levels. Satellite SOS thing costs money because satellite bandwidth is not free, in fact it's a very expensive commodity, which is why Apple only allows message style SOS signal. Why do you think satellite phones and their service is so expensive? Because of that. Pay for wallpapers? Whaaaat? You can use ANY image or photo. From anywhere, for free. Blaming Apple for your apparent incompetence to stick any image as wallpaper is kinda not their fault. The eSIM thing is silly and as European, I don't like it how it'll become a standard for us too soon, but it was bound to happen sooner or later, it's just sooner than later... Charging cable is included, so I don't know what you're on about. Lack of charger is silly, but a lot of brands are doing it now and blaming Apple for all of them is also silly. Good apps cost money on Android too and most of them are plagued by horrid ad banners all over the place or worse, spawn notifications on home screen. There are still plenty of free apps on iPhones. I rather pay a small fee for good app than be plagued by annoying ads. But that's just me. As for ads in Weather and App Store, you're straight up lying. There is NO ads in Weather app and App Store is no different than GooglePlay. It's not annoying ads, it's just promotion sections and new apps highlights and stuff. You're making it like it's some annoying ads where in reality, it's just how ALL app stores work, be it on Android, Windows or iOS.

Bring back dual aperture.. Samsung...

NNUEchessAH, 12 Sep 2022I’ve been thinking this for a month,i think i should go to iOs leaving the world of Android Os... more And Apple is a charity? You have to pay for life emergency feature 2 years later. Pay for half-decent wallpapers. Pay for roaming if you are from US and have the misfortune of having e-sim only iphone. Pay for charging cable. Every half decent app costs money. And that's not even enough, Apple forces you with ads in weather app, app store and all other first-party apps as of ios 16. And there's no option to disable it unlike on Android. It's like you bought a basic BMW that's equipped as poorly as cheap Dacia (but costs as much as several Dacias),but in order to have BMW-like experience, you have to pay buckload of money for additional equipment, color and special services (for instance, up until early 2010s BMW had the balls to sell some cars without preinstalled air conditioning!).

I hope the fingerprint sensor is on back camera, easy to access without movement with index finger. They bring back led notifications and eye scanner can work in dark too....
