Today OnePlus officially unveiled the OnePlus 10T 5G. The OnePlus 10T is its second flagship phone launch in 2022. The OnePlus 10T was launched alongside OxygenOS 13, the company’s newest version of its performance-driven Android overlay. The launch is OnePlus’ first in-person event in more than two years, taking place at Gotham Hall in New York City.

The OnePlus 10T leverages the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 Mobile Platform chipset and up to 16GB of LPDDR5 RAM. OnePlus asserts that OnePlus 10T users can switch between 35 or more open apps at once and continue where they left off.

The OnePlus 10T supports 150W SUPERVOOC Endurance Edition fast-charging technology, which allows you to charge the phone’s 4,800 mAh battery from 1-100% in just 19 minutes. For North American users, the OnePlus 10T will come with the 125W SUPERVOOC charger, providing similar charging speeds. OnePlus has also included its Battery Health Engine in the device to ensure faster-charging speeds accompanied by greater safety, improved efficiency, and reduced heat.

The unibody design of the OnePlus 10T sports a 6.7-inch adaptive 120Hz HDR10+ display. OnePlus has added an adjustable refresh rate to the smartphone to increase battery life so that you can use it for much longer on a single charge.

When it comes to the camera, OnePlus opted to not include its Hasselblad camera tech this time around in the 10T, and so far we’ve discovered that this was a good move. To that effect, we’ve been testing the OnePlus 10T for a few days now and it turns out that the OnePlus 10T offers superior photos to the pricier OnePlus 10 Pro which houses a Hasselblad camera array.

Having scrapped their Hasselblad camera tech for the 10T, the phone instead offers a triple camera setup with a 50MP Sony IMX766 sensor with optical image stabilization and Nightscape 2.0, an ultra-wide-angle, and a macro lens that lets you take pictures up close.

The OnePlus 10T is being launched with OxygenOS 12.1 but will receive the OxygenOS 13 update later in the year. OnePlus has promised three major Android updates and four years of security updates for the OnePlus 10T.

Additionally, OnePlus unveiled its SUPERVOOC 80W Car Charger, which features USB-A and USB-C ports. With the SUPERVOOC 80W Car Charger, you can charge your OnePlus 10T from 0% to 50% in 11 minutes and from 0% to 100% in 29 minutes.
